Assessments and Documentation

We understand the importance of providing comprehensive, relevant assessments to accurately determine a child's current functional capacity to ensure they receive the support they need to lead independent and fulfilling lives. 

We offer a range of assessments including;

• Initial Assessments: Conducted with parents or caregivers to identify the strengths of your child, but also the gaps in their skills, participation or learning and development. Following the initial assessment we collaborate with you to identify relevant and meaningful goals for your child, and determine a plan of action for therapy support.

• Functional Capacity Assessment: Recommended during key life-stage transitions or as requested by the NDIS.

• NDIS Review Report: Mandatory completion at the end of the plan period. The NDIS requires a review report on outcomes against the NDIS plan goals and recommendations regarding the participants’ ongoing functional needs.

• Sensory Processing Assessments and Reports:  Identifies a child’s sensory processing patterns and how these patterns may be supporting, contributing to or interfering with a child’s participation in activities in their relevant environments. This includes tailored intervention strategies and recommendations.

• Behavioural and Environmental Assessments: Including observations, reports and recommendations for strategies and supports at home school, kinder and in the community. 

• Fine and Gross Motor Assessments including Handwriting Assessments
